Elegant Hotel in the Perfect...
- What did you like most? The hotel’s location is fantastic—right in Paris, just a short walk from the Musée du Louvre and Place de la Concorde. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the entire property is very clean and elegant. The room was a good size, with effective A/C and sound-proof windows, which made my stay very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and included some à la carte options cooked to order. I really enjoyed this hotel and would definitely come back.
- Was there anything you didn't like? The only downside is that it’s quite expensive.
At that price you expect...
- Was there anything you didn't like?I came to Le Burgundy Paris expecting true “palace-hotel” quality given its ~€500/night price tag. But what we got didn’t even come close. On many mornings, the breakfast was a mess: we asked for warm dishes and often waited so long we simply left without getting them or they were simply forgotten. What was served instead felt like a sparse continental breakfast — pastries, croissants, juice, cereal, etc. Rather than a proper cooked breakfast. Same experience at the bar when orders were forgotten. Given the high price, I’d expect fast, attentive staff and reliable meal service, but instead we experienced sluggish, inattentive behavior: orders forgotten or delayed, little to no follow-up, and overall a feeling that staffing was minimal and under-qualified relative to what “luxury” should mean. Some facilities in the spa were not operational (hammam). Compare that with other palaces of the same price like the Royal Savoy, Beau Rivage, etc and the difference is so striking that is unfathomable.
